Freedom Festival Foundation Freedom Festival has been established as a non-profit organization under Section 501c(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code, and is governed by a Board of Directors. The Board is comprised of people from all lifestyles including music business professionals and individuals that are active member of 12-Step Fellowship programs inducing Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Cocaine Anonymous (CA) and Al-Anon. Volunteers are working together with Board Members to make the celebration a success. Freedom Festival's purpose is to convey the message that fun and enjoyment are a true part of clean and sober living and provide resources to individuals who now live in the freedom of recovery. The Freedom Festival live concert event is a celebration of life without alcohol, drugs, or any mind-altering substances or addictive behaviors. The event offered all day live musical entertainment in a gated venue to the recovery community and their family members. In cooperation with the City of Long Beach Recreation Department, our First Annual Freedom Festival took place on July 25, 2004 at Long Beach City College, Golf Mall Park. Our Sixth Annual Freedom Festival will take place: June 10,
2012 Freedom Festival is seeking support for this event from sponsors and donors whose tax deductible contribution will be utilized to subsidize production and venue costs including rental of sound, staging, security, insurance toilet facilities, and children's activities and raffle prizes. The anticipated attendance at this year's event is 1500 clean and sober individuals and their family members. Printed and banner visibility at the venue is available to sponsors and advertising opportunities are available. The Freedom Festival Board appreciates your support and consideration toward this project. We are hopeful that this event will continue as an annual Freedom Festival summer event.
